Household Cavalry Home Headquarters are based in Combermere Barracks Windsor. The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment are based at Hyde Park Barracks in London and the Household Cavalry Regiment are based in Picton Barracks in Wiltshire.

The Associations also have regional branches , Dorset Branch, North Staffordshire Branch, Household Cavalry Association North West & West Yorks 'Tudor Squadron' and Household Cavalry Association North East and North Yorkshire.

The Life Guards

The Life Guards Association was formed in 1928 after the amalgamation of The 1st and 2nd Life Guards after which they were called "The Life Guards (1st and 2nd)" until 1928 when they are renamed "The Life Guards".

The Blues and Royals Association was formed in 1969 following the amalgamation of the Royal Horse Guards ( The Blues ) and the 1st Royal Dragoons ( The Royals ).
